Wolfsbane

And so...

We found Wolfsbane and we started together and we were all terrible, you know, and we couldn't play cover versions.

We weren't good enough.

So we just started writing our own songs and I think that was... really great thing we thought well people won't know if we're playing it right or wrong because we had no record so whatever we play as long as we try and make it catchy and entertaining but they won't know how bad we are because it'll be our song so as far as anybody's concerned that's how we're supposed to play it and that's what we did and we kept going and we made our early demo tapes and and everything so we got signed up and it was an american label and we had to go to america to record our first album and then our next album we recorded at roundhouse london then we recorded abbey road as well the famous studio the same one as the beatles we toured in a tour bus a few times as well

and then iron maiden entered the picture right

By the time it came that I had a chance to audition for Maiden, then grunge was very big and CD sales started going down and streaming was just in its infancy and things just weren't going well for Wolfsbane.

It was very, very bad.

Sad, but I was lucky I managed to get an audition for Iron Maiden.

I'd probably didn't read it.

But the more common name for this plant is called Wolfsbane.

And old legends claim that if you touch this plant under the full moon, you could transform

into a beast.

Such

a porn.

His first band was Wolfsbane, and that's who we're going to hear from tonight.

Now, they were originally active from 84 to 94.
