They've really, really liked the partnership they've got on the Fallout series.

Obviously, they're still continuing to do it because they're going to be working on Wolfenstein next.

Um, but yeah, so, so many death mechanics and sake draw.

Uh, One of my favorite narrative moments in gaming, and this is a huge spoiler for Wolfenstein Colossus.

Outrageous game.

They're doing all sorts of batshit crazy stuff in there.

i'm glad you brought up wolfenstein also because um another death element actually from the first game and that was one of the first levels where it's one of the first games i remember and i know this has been done in other titles but where you actually have to pick uh which npc gets killed from your two partners which carried over and did that second game too if you had a save file so uh that was just such a brutal uh introduction that universe which kind of sets the tone perfectly but that is a gnarly concept again because like my brother said like we have a very kind of white knight trying to do everything right when you play through a game even though these are just you know digitized characters but knowing that you're fully responsible for the death of one of them immediately at the outset was just such a gnarly thing to absorb and uh Yeah, if it's done right, it can really, you know, make for some interesting narrative.

But I have heard it's popping up more frequently in some lesser titles.

But again, Wolfenstein, the way they did it.

And yeah, that scene in the New Colossus was absolutely amazing with the public execution of BJ is leading to him becoming even more powerful somehow.

Really seems like it's gonna be a serious lieutenant.

I was thinking about, like, Wolfenstein.

Um, the Nazis have dug up something in a cemetery near the catacombs.

And I was like, "Oh, shit."

Wolfenstein, baby.

It might be a little bit, but it might be a 15, I suppose, or, you know, but I probably shouldn't have been playing.

I think, you know, you look at the time, you know, I remember playing Doom, right? It's one of my favorite games, even Wolfenstein and being actively scared by it, you know, as I played it, you know, just a few years before and sort of feeling like, you know, as a kid, your imagination is, you're sort of, you know, far more lively in that sense.

And so, you know, I'd found Mortal Kombat to be a real thrill.

You know, it was totally different from anything I played before.

In terms of a campaign, like a shooter campaign, I know you like the Doom games and you've played the old shooter now and again.

How does... campaign evolves campaign stack up to more modern stuff like a doom or like a Wolfenstein, even going back a little bit further.

Did you enjoy the overall story, gameplay, the package itself?

Yeah, I think it's actually done really well.

I mean, with things like Wolfenstein and Doom, they are, I mean, just a bit of a head fuck, really.

Because, you know, if you play it late at night and you go to bed, you have fucking nightmares because it's like being on crack or something.

And this is a bit more varied.

I mean, it's very questionable that, but he's a dad and he's very powerful, like very, it has a very high rank.

in the corporation so yeah good morning good morning then I'm going from low rank to highest rank so so I have five like number four could be BJ Blazkowicz on Wolfenstein So as we all know, we play with his twins in the last title of the saga, which literally got me half empty because it just stops what seems to be a finishing act to get to another one.

It's like the ending of the game.

and cliffhanger like from six years ago so i don't think we'll we just got thrown off a cliff but yeah the game is like you you play with the twins and you need to find your dad that went on his own crusade to france uh to liberate france and um got into some issues and then you end up um finding him in in and yes it's really epic the moment that you find
