Woburn Sands

In fact, the image that accompanies this episode is one of those photographs from Bletchley Park Trust's archive.

I was billeted first at Wervenden House, a lovely old Georgian place near Woburn Sands, that I believe infested with mice.

We were not in the house, of course.

48 of us were in the huge garage in 24 double bunk beds.

So what do we have in common?

Well, many, many years ago, we used to both live in Woburn Sands and our children sort of were in a similar school age and everything.

So we knew of one another, but we weren't friends.

And then about 18 months ago, a very good friend of mine and friend of yours now, Joe, She came on to speak on the radio and she was recommending different people and she sent my details over to you.
