we had a strong consideration for the lions against the Packers.

We did not get to add it to the card, but boy, I was on with my buddies at WJBK in Detroit last night.

We were talking about this game a lot here, laying the three against the Packers against Josh Jacobs, coming back here off the, uh, the commissioner's list there.

Um, I like the Lions in this spot.

I interned at a public relations firm in Detroit, Marks Lane.

I interned for Fox News, the local Fox News affiliate in Detroit.

That's where I'm from.

And so I really thought I wanted to be a journalist.

Yeah, so obviously this was to her frustration.

So in November of 2024, Fox 2 Detroit discovered that Shanice had booked Christmas photo shoots with local families but canceled after claiming the Santa Claus performer had fallen ill with Mpox.

So remember the Santa that old girl Shanice was lying about and said had monkeypox? Fox 2 Detroit later interviewed the Santa in question.

Because remember, they were reporting on Shanice and her fake photographs and everything.

So Alex DeBrincat, the Cat, staying in Detroit for quite some time.

And Dan Miller, the longtime voice of the Detroit Red Wings, sports director at Fox 2 Detroit, shared an emotional message yesterday thanking the community for its support following the death of his wife Cindy, after a lengthy years-long batt- multi-year long battle with cancer.

He said the outpouring of kindness and the nearly 20,000 donations to the Lepomeningeal Cancer Foundation has been deeply healing for his family, while describing his wife as the strongest person he's ever known, and praising the way that she fought her illness until the very, very end.

Still, you know, we continue to think about Dan Miller and, and, and everything that they are going through.

What we are going to be listening to and reacting to is JB Bickerstaff.

He was on Fox 2 Detroit's Sports Work show, hosted by Jennifer Hammond and Jeremy Otto, and we're going to be listening, uh, on two separate questions he was asked, one about rookie Ebuka Okoro, and the second one was about Asar Thompson.

And we'll be listening to that, reacting, giving our thoughts and opinions.

I did write down a couple of talking points for today's podcast, but should be a good one.

In 2021, Kim Harden contacted Fox 2 Detroit after her 10-year-old nonverbal autistic daughter came home from Oxford Recovery Center's arts program, visibly distressed and with unexplained injuries.

Not being able to communicate with me, it scared me to send her away somewhere and not know what her day is like and what was going on, Harden told the station.

Seeking answers, Harden reached out to autism support groups and dug into the background of the woman who ran the program, Casey Diskin.

She had not studied in Australia.

In fact, she had no legitimate credentials in behavior analysis at all.

what she did have was a criminal record diskin had previously been convicted twice of identity theft and once of larceny from a building in 2014 she stole thousands of dollars in credit cards from her mother's cousin the following year she targeted her own mother-in-law stealing jewelry before using her identity to open credit cards and gain access to her bank account According to court records obtained by Fox 2, after Diskin pleaded no contest to the charges, her family persuaded her to admit herself to a psychiatric hospital.

She was sentenced to two years of probation.
