In Western Australia, you have Wittenoom, which is often grimly referred to as Australia's Chernobyl.

Australia's Chernobyl, wow.

It was a booming profitable town in the 1940s and 50s, built entirely around a massive blue asbestos mine.

So this is something of a sequel to the episode we did on Wittenoom.
