But it really, you know, the origins of persecution of witches, they're pretty similar across Europe and America.

So this book is written by Claire Mitchell, King's Council, and writers are Evander Totsie, and they're behind the Witches of Scotland campaign.

If anyone doesn't know about the campaign, it's gained a lot of popularity and publicity recently.

It's all about achieving apology, legal pardon, and a memorial for the nearly 4,000 people, mostly women, in Scotland who were persecuted under the Witchcraft Act from the 16th to 18th centuries.

I think, really delightful to dive into.

So you've got, on the one hand, the fantasy element with Alice Hoffman, and on the other, the deep research and really historical element with the Witches of Scotland.
