Merry stabbed him from behind with a magic sword, and Eowyn landed the killing blow.

They'd be a good match, both being royal.

But her cunning and courage lead to a decisive victory on the Battle of Pelennor Fields when she confronts the Witch-King, the most evil and persistent servant of Sauron and his steed when Mary is stricken on the battlefield and we are reminded really of the kind of proto-evangelium of Genesis 3.15 where the prophecy concerning one of Eve's descendants with respect to the serpent in the garden You know, she shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.
