Wipeout

well i i won't claim sole fame for that but i was part of that yeah so so yeah i mean so i i I did computer science at the University of Leeds, and I was lucky enough straight out of that to get a job in the games industry, working for Sony Psygnosis.

So Psygnosis were best known for, like, they made Wipeout, which was like this, like, hover future driving thing that was a PlayStation launch title.

Anyway, so I worked for them for a while.

Is that the same thing that launched Gran Turismo later, or I'm confusing them?

So, yeah, they did Barbarian.

Shadow of the Beast was well-known on Amiga.

But, yeah, Lemmings, Wipeout, a bunch of Wipeouts.

They did Formula One games as well that were really very popular.

Shadow of the Beast 2.

I think he also did Wipeout, the original Wipeout, in maybe 2097.

He also did some music for Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing.

Oh yeah, he really did.

did.

But it was

mainly like Psygnosis stuff, so it's like Wipeout and just Wipeout.

That's kind of what they became after a while.
