I work in Longreach at the hospital out here.

We don't just stay in Longreach, we provide outreach to other smaller towns such as Barcaldine, Blackall, Winton.

Jazz's work in outback Queensland means that she supports patients right across the health system.

When she's working with people who are coming to the end of their life, her focus is on understanding their goals and what's most important to them to maintain their quality of life and dignity.

But the focus is really then out towards the southwest with that band of showers, and thunderstorms will move in later this afternoon and, uh, could get up to around that five, uh, later today, up to five, even maybe a little bit more than up to ten millimeters, uh, if you do get under a thunderstorm, really all the way from, uh-

uh-Up around Mount Isa to Winton down to Charleville, um, by, uh, late, uh, this evening as, as that band of showers and thunderstorms move across today.

Then that, uh, that band of showers and thunderstorms will move east.

Uh, and so, uh, we will see tomorrow it'll move more into the interior.

So, uh, we've generally got, uh, a risk of, uh, isolated showers and thunderstorms, uh, really across, uh, western Queensland, central Queensland, some isolated showers, uh, some thunderstorms might get as far east as Charters Towers, Moranbah, uh, and the southeast coast is also expecting, uh, the chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow.

The main focus tomorrow will really be in a band really from up around Mount Isa across to, to Richmond down through Winton, Longreach, uh, even Charleville, Inn June, Roma, uh, down into, uh, kind of the, the southeast interior, so down towards, uh, Goondiwindi and out towards, uh, Toowoomba and Warwick.

That seems to be the main focus, uh, tomorrow.

It'll be a bit hit or miss.

This is what I'm gonna do." And then the rest of the day is just, uh, just doing whatever I wanna do to relax.

And I ended up going Barcaldine, then I went to Winton and looked at fossils, and then I went right out to Mount Isa and I wanted to look at Mount Isa and Cloncurry, never been out there.

Then I tracked back to Richmond, which is a little town of 200 where you find lots of dinosaur fossils-

Well, now I've got that response, mate.

We've been out to Winton.

Wow.

Yeah.

Those towns are a long way apart, and you do need a car with a decent bit of range, but it's definitely possible.

Wow.

So going around Charleville, Longreach, Winton, Barcaldon, Mount Isaac, you can do it.

And what ratio would you say was working versus not working? Because that's a bit of a gripe some people have on the network.
