What would justify putting tribal land and resources toward a data center for the Winnebago Tribe? What does a good deal look like?

We've been down this road before.

Uh, you know, they're, they think that we're gonna, um, just give in to shiny trinkets, you know? They're like, "You know, here, we're gonna give all of you these things." Like, yeah, we- we've done that before.

Keely, the Cherokee Nation recently banned hyperscale data centers on tribal and trust land after studying the issue and surveying its citizens, and several other tribes have imposed similar restrictions or begun formal studies.

What do you make of those decisions, and are there lessons there for the Winnebago Tribe?
