yeah things like that and yeah i'm just i got enough to do and starting from windows and then spinning up wsl well i can do any distribution i want in wsl so the only platform i just don't have like instantly available to me would be a mac which i don't use mac stuff anyway so i don't miss anything there so yeah it's like i could run virtual machines and i get that but WSL spins up right away, shuts down right away.

[whooshing sound] Now something that might give a bit more ammo to the WSL harms actual Linux use camp, it seems like Ubuntu installed in WSL grows faster than native Ubuntu desktop installs, meaning that as a whole, people on Windows seem to prefer installing through WSL rather than changing the entire OS.
