KC of KC Munchkin didn't die with the lawsuit.

A sequel called KC's Crazy Chase, released in 1982, and KC Returns was released by Averitt in 2017 for Windows 8 and Windows 10, with a sequel called KC Returns 2, releasing in 2020.

So KC Munchkin lives on despite the lawsuit.

While lawsuits were preventing Pac-Man clones from flourishing in the United States, in the UK things were a little different.

I used to work for Microsoft, okay? I was there at the peak.

Well, not the peak, because who knows what the peak is necessarily, but I was there right at the beginning of Windows 8, okay? Windows Phone, Surface, Dancing Schoolgirls.

I was there, and Redmond, training people.

I'm telling you, they put billions into it and it didn't work.

... to make Windows look like something else, which says a lot about Windows, by the way.

Um, [laughs] you know, this, and then of course they're starting with Windows 8 when they got rid of the Start menu originally.

That was the impetus for, like, this kind of recent generation of stuff.

Brad Wardell was like, "I'm gonna make a Start menu for Windows." [laughs] Right? And now of course we have Start 11, right? So we had Start 8, Start 10, Start 11, and various permutations in there.

And Jensen's gonna be there, so that tells you something.

Um, oh yeah, that guy.

And then I think the last thing, the last thing that I've had the privilege to do, you know, I've worked on some things where I really didn't like what I did.

You know, I have a huge amount of respect for Microsoft, but I was trying to sell people tablets based on Windows 8 and Windows 10 when they could have bought an iPad.

And I did not like that because I had an iPad at home.

I did not want this thing that I was making.

That would be kind of cool, but I know I-

Yeah.

So you could actually have, like, Windows Mobile on the cover and then a Windows 8-esque.
