Here's your news at 8 a.m. Deputy Director of Public and Environmental Health in the Health Ministry, Gabriel Joseph, says proposed amendments to the Tobacco Products Control Act will tighten restrictions on the advertising and promotion of tobacco products.

Speaking in Windhoek during nationwide consultations, Joseph said the changes are aimed at curbing cross-border advertising and strengthening enforcement.
