Windham County

I still loved it at nine years old.

Um, it was spring break that year, so March/April timeframe, and we were going up to a family's, uh, property up in, uh, Windham County, Vermont.

Now, Windham County is southeast.

Uh, it's about two hours almost to the dot from where I lived in Connecticut, and we went up there a lot, uh, probably every other month, if not more frequently than that.

And at this time, I didn't do too much exploring in the woods by myself, although I still had a decent amount under my belt.

Um, and I used to sleep on this one couch down there that was, I would say, five or six feet away from one of these glass doors, and I used to sleep in that, on that couch because I was one of the older children that would go to this property all the time.

Uh, and that was the closest one to the TV.

So back then, not a big fan of sleeping with the TV off, especially in a pitch black basement in the middle of the woods in, you know, Windham County, Vermont.
