That said, it just has a personal connection with me.

The aircraft that flew into the Pentagon, two of the victims were Rear Admiral Bud Flagg and his wife, Dee.

They were passengers on that aircraft.

Bud Flagg had been a VF-202 skipper at Naval Air Station Dallas in the Reserves.

He had retired from the Reserves as a two-star admiral, and he had been an American Airlines pilot.

So Bud, a- and I didn't know this at the time, when I was in 04 and 9/11 happened, but as I've gone through life and looked at the anniversary of 9/11 every year, it strikes me the similarities that Bud's career had with mine.
