But as Willow and Xander's arcs sort of, like, deepen and darken and all these other things, we still need that effervescence and the constant-

I know but you can understand because you're like she's a teenager still we have to all remember she's 17 years old you can see the like the temp you can understand the temptation to just be like oh I'm just let's forget about this like I didn't

And they're treating her with kid gloves and trying to be comforting and Dawn doesn't want to be there for any of this.

She wants to go over to Willow's dorm room and be there and sleep there.

So as they're leaving, Xander and Willow encounter Spike.

And Spike has some flowers.

And he says they're for Joyce.

And it's like, we know about you and your obsession with Buffy.

And Spike is offended, throws the flowers down and leaves.

And Willow points out.

Yeah, I can fall asleep pretty fast.

So the screen or the camera like zooms in on Willow.

So it's like, all right, this is Willow's dream.

So she's with Tara in her dream.

Tara's like laying on her stomach and you can see she's like naked.

And Willow's doing something.

We don't see it yet.

Tara says, I

... because, like, they just kind of, there are a couple scenes of, uh, where they kinda pretend that Buffy is still going to college, but, like...

And, like, Tara and Willow live in, uh, the most ridiculous-looking dorm rooms you've ever seen, but they're still in school.

But, like-

And so they kind of try to replace it with, like, Giles buys the magic box, and everyone, like, Anya officially works there, which is great.

Everything with, like, Anya and Giles own the magic box I think is 10 out of 10, no notes.

And then, like, Xander and Willow and Tara are often just, like, they're kind of also working there sometimes, you know?

Yeah.

Back in Sunnydale, Joyce blames Giles for Buffy running away.

Oz didn't graduate, and didn't get around to telling Willow he'd be returning to Sunnydale High School as a super senior, and Xander and Cordelia just really, really, really need to go work it out in a broom closet, stat.

So there's a lot to get done, and I think interestingly what seems to suffer a little bit is the sort of, like, sharpness of the wit.

It's not, with the exception of the sort of, like, Willow-Oz and really the Xander-Cordelia stuff, there's not a lot of fun happening.
