Because he didn't play left tackle.

Instead, he played right tackle in an era that devalued right tackles to a degree.

I think the biggest thing about this conversation specifically, not even just about Mims, the right tackle, left tackle flip, is every single offensive lineman in the NFL that's asked about this mentions how hard it is.

Andrew Whitworth has talked about it.

Willie Anderson has talked about it.

Joe Thomas just last week, the Browns' former All-Pro Hall of Fame tackle, just talked about it.

But the guys who... may or may not be the automatic rubber stamp first ballot guys.

What does Richard Sherman do in this year's group compared to a Willie Anderson? Because like me, Jeff Hodson from the Cincinnati Bengals is no longer a member of the committee.

Does Willie Anderson suffer because of that? Does Richard Sherman get elevated because of that? Well, we'll see how this thing goes over the next couple of years, and I don't know.

But I do.

He is playing like the best right tackle in football, and we haven't had that since Willie Anderson.

I mean, we haven't had an all pro or anything on the offense line in years.

Probably Willie Anderson probably was the last all pro we had.
