William Klein

For this episode, I will be sharing a photograph and I'll share a link with you in the show notes so you can open up a version of the photo before I start talking about it.

It's by the 20th century master photographer William Klein.

And basically, I'm going to talk about the photo in great depth.

I'm going to look at the composition, the technical aspects, and also the more emotional reactions that I might have to this photograph and roll in maybe a little bit of photo history in the conversation as well.

So this week, I'll be looking at a photograph, as I said, by one of the true masters of 20th century photography, William Klein.

A little backstory on William Klein, I think, is appropriate to start off.

Um, it's just that most people don't do that.

So, um, but I saw that in, you know, William Klein's work primarily.

You know, when I saw Klein's work, I realized, oh, yeah, there's a whole 'nother level to this stuff.

'Cause Klein was, you know, was, you know, more experimental-

'Cause it has a lot to do with your personality.

Totally, yeah.

And everybody can do it differently, you know? I mean, the other end of, the other end of William Klein is, uh, is, um, what's her name? Of ...
