William Howard Taft High School

there was apparently one started in chicago public schools and according to this sort of you know it's an alternative media site but i would love to find out if it is still operating because radar online just two months ago wrote uh an article called chinese communist party building a pro-china force inside chicago public schools Inside Chicago Public Schools saying that this Confucius Institute is still in there.

And this is all apparently from Taft High School.

Taft.

You know, the creator of

Greece, he graduated from that school.

It was based off of Taft High School.

Yeah, Memorandum of Cooperation between William Howard Taft High School and Xin'an No. 9 High School in Shandong, China.

That's what this is all about.

A little bit about Godzik.

He went to Taft High School.

He was a great student.

And he was on a schoolwork program doing afternoon labor there at Republic Lumber for $2.35 an hour, which equates today to $13.85 an hour.

And they were just out of high school, I think.

One was from Taft High School, one was from Sullivan, one was from Senn.

And that's purely Chicago.

And they did have great success.

So it's such a great gag.

Have you guys visited? I know it's such a, you guys are so removed from the movie, but William Howard Taft High School is the high school right near O'Hare.

Oh, yeah.

where Jim Jacobs went to high school and a lot of these characters were created out of.
