literally about 10 minutes into the game a ball was passed down the right hand wing because i'm a winger so i'm expected to get down and get the crossing i got down and got the crossing but i don't remember doing any of that because i collapsed so this is what was told to me afterwards that had happened uh unfortunately i'd i got the crossing the goalkeeper had caught it and thrown the ball out on their right hand side and everyone noticed that i was on the floor Thankfully our centre forward ran at pace and could see that I had no pulse and that my lips had started to turn blue so they immediately, he immediately started CPR on me which was obviously key and then over the next five to ten minutes they managed to then get a defib defibrillator to shock me and after three shocks they managed to get me back to life and the rest is then when it started that I was obviously taken to the William Harvey Hospital and obviously Decisions were taken after an angiogram had been done on me that night as to whether I would need surgery and then a month later I had a quadruple heart bypass operation.

It didn't finish there because unfortunately I came out after my quadruple bypass and after nine days after my surgery I got pneumonia.
