William B. Davis

But that's not my point.

My point is that because I looked this up, I found out, Jenny, that William B. Davis, which is our Smoking Man-

Mm-hmm

... is also a professional water skier.

But he was always meeting up in shadowy alleyways and passing on bits of information.

the thing is he was played by William B Davis who's now 88 years old but he's still with us the oddball thing is I don't know if you've ever gone through like take a soap opera and you go through the storylines over the years and you realize that certain characters have died six times they've had amnesia seven times they've been married and divorced they got murdered they murdered somebody else and So Cigarette Smoking Man actually died three times in the first 11 seasons of The X-Files.

So what his status is now, nobody seems to know.

He died.

Also, in the film, you will see Dean Haglund as Richard Ringo Langley.

William B. Davis is the cigarette-smoking man.

Mitch Pelleggi as assistant director Walter Skinner.

And then a bunch of other, I believe these are all X-Files people.

And they're just both on the other side like, we had evidence, but these guys showed up.

And usually the guy that showed up was a William B. Davis is the cigarette smoking man who would just come in and like, just the last minutes while they're looking the other direction, take something off the table or just make a file disappear or computer hack them.

It was such a great dynamic of the cast.

And even like people that they introduced later, like, uh, do you guys remember the lone gunman in the series? Like the, uh, the three computer nerds that were writing for the, uh,
