Willi Castro

Yeah.

Well, why would you play him when you have Willy Castro?

Right.

Zach Fiennes has been okay, but also not in a sustainable...

... they're okay there.

I, I feel like any position players, they've got Castro, Connor Norby's been kind of a good, like, w- utility guy.

They've got, obviously, the crowded outfield that we've talked about all year.

I, I, I'm not saying this lineup is Murderers' Row or the Blake Street Bombers, but it really feels like they don't have to focus on, you know, getting the Willy Castro and the Edward Julian and all the guys they signed in the off-season this past year.

They can almost strictly look at, "Hey, how do we make the bullpen better with one or two pieces, and how do we make the starting pitching obviously better?" Whether that's allowing the Gabe Hughes and them to grow, which is gonna be tough with no spring training or who knows when the league starts.

Like, in my mind, they shouldn't even look at anybody with a bat l- in this off-season at the top of the priority list.

Just trying to get ahead of, ahead of the rush a little bit.

And, uh, you know, that lineup, you know, well, if Willy Castro comes back, maybe that complicates things.

But plantar fasciitis is-

Yeah

Uh, I think I could be in at, at that spot.

I mean, it's really kinda like Willy Castro.

I mean, like, when we've, you know, taken him, like, a multi-eligible guy.

I mean, it's kinda like the same type of thing.

He hits the ball in the air to the pull side a ton, and that's something the Twins have clearly worked on him a lot with and that he has tried to, uh, to, to make adjustments to do on a more consistent basis.

But like you have him, you have Willy Castro, like guys that were just really kind of underwhelming or just flat out unproductive here, that figured it out in Minnesota.

So good for him.

Not a great look, I, I guess, for the Tigers, but like I, I don't, I don't lose sleep over Cody Clemens not being on the team right now or, or Willy Castro not being on the team right now.

It's just...

And like Willy Castro's obviously not even on the Twins anymore.

It, it's just, it's fascinating to me, that, that kind of stuff.

I, I love players that make adjustments later into their career and kind of rejuvenate or revitalize their, uh, their career.

Uh, from the Yankees, Trent Gresham's been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained right hamstring.

Colorado, Willy Castro, former Cub, placed on the 10-day IL with left heel inflammation.

The Athletics' J.T. Ginn placed on the 15-day IL with right elbow impingement.

For the White Sox, the newly acquired Tommy Pham has to be going on the 10-day IL with a strained-
