Will You Love Me Tomorrow

It's a great song to start it with.

And in between, It's Too Late, You've Got a Friend, Smack Water Jack, which is probably my favourite, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, Where You Leave Me, obviously made famous again by the Gilmore Girls, which if you've never watched, you should.

And they're just a whole bunch of songs that are superb.

Can't argue with any of that.

I, I'm pretty sure the last time that it came up, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Head Over Feet.

Yes.

Yeah.

I would have still...

I will still keep pushing, or I would have still kept pushing for Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Head Over Feet to go past the next round.

Uh-huh.

To be clear, I do think that this movie is a lot of fun, especially this opening sequence.

When this movie started and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow started playing and we followed this POV of, I guess, us as the EMTs trying to help Grace, I was obsessed with this opening and it got me super hype for the rest of the movie.

I think that there is an element to this that is exactly what you said in terms of, hey, this is the first movie on a bigger scale, more killers, more personalities, more land to work with.

And so to a certain degree, we're just taking the first one and saying, okay, but what if we elevated this to a whole nother level? And I mean, it's one of those things where it's like, it makes sense, right? When you think about it, like why would a crazy devil worshiping rich society only really have like one family? And I mean, they even touch on that a little bit in the first one is this idea of there's other families.

And I think that's what like brought her into the sort of mainstream prominence.

She did a really great bachata cover, Be My Baby, and another one of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

um so that's what I think of when I think of Leslie Grace but she's done a lot of other kinds of pop music and I really love the sound of this it's very sweet

Okay, this is a little bit long.

The year I was born, Carole King wrote Will You Love Me Tomorrow, which was her first number one hit, at age 18.

This was followed by Take Good Care of My Baby, Locomotion, Go Away Little Girl, Up on the Roof, Chains, One Fine Day, I'm Into Something Good, You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman, which was written when she was 25.

And we heard all these songs before we were seven years old.

In 1959, legendary songwriter and singer as well, Miss Carole King, married her lyricist partner, Gerry Goffin.

The duo would go on to become one of the most successful songwriting teams of the 1960s, writing iconic hits like Will You Love Me Tomorrow and The Locomotion before their divorce in 1968.

In 1969, three huge three-day music festivals kicked off simultaneously across the United States: the Sky River Rock Festival, which was in Washington, the New Orleans Pop Festival, which was in Louisiana, that was held at a speedway in Baton Rouge, and the Texas International Pop Festival, which was near Dallas.

Those events capitalized on the cultural momentum that was generated by Woodstock just a couple weeks earlier.
