Will Wilson

Again, ran into Virginia in week one.

I still have my concerns about C.J. Bailey because of Will Wilson, right? To vulture goal line touches as well.

I'm just not sure we're going to get as many rushing touchdowns from him this year.

Let's see if he can get things on track.

Um, and I think that's just kind of who you're dealing with now.

So personally, I think you should mix in more of the Will Wilson special.

And I thought we should have done that more in that game and just kind of try to play a little bit tougher and bully ball, see if we can get any momentum.

Um, but yeah, um, it's going to be kind of an interesting season, uh, Definitely.

Yes.

The other choice was to say, CJ, go make your money.

We're going to make Will Wilson, whose dad is a high school coach, and he threw the ball a bunch in high school.

We're going to make him our quarterback.

So I think the bottom line is that it's, that's just not going to get it done.

And when you throw in the you know, the poaching, I guess, that we're expecting to see from Will Wilson again this year based on what we saw.

That puts both C.J. Bailey and Duke Scott in a pretty shaky position, I think.

And while I didn't have a ton of exposure to Bailey, I did have a decent chunk of Duke Scott, and I certainly am feeling a bit of buyer's remorse at this point.

Josh, you probably had this guy on your list.

All-American in 2019, but in 2017 as a freshman, started 57 games at second base, played shortstop his last two years, NC State's Will Wilson.

oh not yes all right all right all right 30 39 career bombs second baseman yeah 158 rbi um hit 313 in his career had a really good 2019 like i said all-american first team easy way to fill up the second base position with a guy who played shortstop for two years and was one of the best defenders in the entire country by the time he graduated so give me will wilson at second base

I'm a big fan of my top, my infield personally, but if you just go outfield down, I think I got this thing pretty handily.

I'm in love with all that.

Weston Wilson, Patrick Wisdom, Conor Joe, Miles Mastrobuoni, Buddy Kennedy, Will Wilson, Stuart Fairchild.

Th- that is not a bench that wins you playoff games, man.

It's not even close.

I'm not sure it could be possible, but I would be very surprised if it was G.

Will Wilson that went to DC Editorial and said, hey, we should do a Poison Ivy event.

Usually when these type of events happen, it's the character.

And this is the same thing that happened with Chip Zdarsky in the Bat-Cat War.

Bo Pobula comes to take in, take over as quarterback, but we got new guys catching it, new guys running it.

On the other side, familiar faces in the form of CJ Bailey, Duke Scott, uh, you know, Will Wilson.

Don't forget that Will Wilson package for NC State in the short yardage situations.

He looks like a legitimate middle infield prospect, shortstop, second base, bat-to-ball skills.

He, he's the guy who Will Wilson never became, Marty.
