Yeah, and it's also clear they really need AJ right now because that 10th guy that they're trying to use at the moment, it just isn't working between Chris Middleton and Will Reilly.

As much as the fan base and us included love Will Reilly, he's had a very rough start to the season when he's gotten his opportunity.

Yeah.

It's been too old.

this is a fun one.

Brian Keefe hates Will Reilly and Grant Hughes.

Do you know what, I know you know, but does everybody else know what happened in the first game of the Wizards season? Number one, they won.

So that was a weird thing for just everybody.

But in a game where AJ DeBonsa wasn't available, Will Reilly was a healthy scratch.

And so Grant.

I want you to channel all your inner vanity and figure out like, why are the wizards doing this? This is personal.

And that then has a trickle-down effect on the wing rotation, naturally.

They played 10 guys in this game, which is already a lot.

And no Will Reilly.

No Will Reilly at all, which is interesting.

Interesting, but I guess I sort of got it.

He's

I think that's a good call from Keith, too, because the truth is you just can't play everybody.

We're big Will Reilly fans, and Lord knows I think that he's a better long-term prospect than, let's just say, a couple of guys that are currently playing.

But I think that on some level, his game has a bit more volatility to it in terms of just... sometimes you get like the 30 ball will Riley and other times you get just a, you know, just a different version.

That's a young player that's still finding his way.

I think that the team has sort of passed by the need for him, and he hasn't taken the necessary steps forward.

The other guy I want to sort of highlight in more detail is Will Reilly, who I honestly hated him as a prospect.

I did not think he was very good.

I hated the lack, absolute lack of defensive stats that he had coming out of Illinois.

I think he's an interesting scorer who's very tall for his position, and the shooting stuff was bad, and that was, I think, one of his strengths coming in.

He was horrible at shooting.

So as good as Will Reilly was, I say good, like he was fine as a player last season, it all happened in garbage time, with a garbage team around him, and playing against a lot of other garbage teams.

And that just doesn't mean much to me.

Um, every-- I really believe, like, every era and every class strengthens the case.

Even right now, like, the Will Reilly is, like, quietly, he has had, like, an amazing rookie career, right? Um, but, you know, it start, like...

And then let's not forget, before those guys, you know, the Steve Nashes of the world, the Jamal McLures of the world, Tod McCulloughs of the world.

Like, those were, that's when it was, like, fringe, like, here and there.

You see how the rotation is.

I mean, it's a lot of Will Reilly be off the bench before Chris Middleton, you know? What, who's gonna be off the bench for like what are the lineups gonna look like? Who's the first like not to come off the bench, but who's the first gonna be coming, you know, who's coming off first? Like is it we're gonna try to go maybe AD comes off first, we let Sar run the five a little bit, maybe we put better another four.

Are we going Balal plus Keshon? Just like I don't, there's a lot of different things, man, and that's why I'm excited.
