Will Mallory

You know, he's out there looking like a grown man.

I almost thought it was Will Mallory for a second.

Remember Will Mallory on the Canes? He was, what was he, like 32? Playing tight end for the Canes.

Anyways, Javion Mallory, big fan of his.

Um, uh, we got G7P, um, "Move Mallory to wide out as a possession receiver." Well, I thought it'd be a pretty cool thing to move, uh, Will Mallory to a wide receiver role as well, uh, G7, but the problem is I believe he's on IR, so I don't think there's anything they [laughs] I don't think there's anything they can do.

Um, "The worst defense in the NFL on pace to be the worst in NFL history." Well, we'll see about that.

I mean, so far the, the defense looks completely hapless.

Michael Pittman junior seven in 84, but 21.3 yards for a reception was by far the league leader or he, not the league leader, the Colts leader.

I mean, Ashton Doolin had five catches for 21.2, but we're not counting that, you know, Will Mallory one reception.

We're going like at least 40 or at least six receptions, right? I mean, that's kind of the threshold here.

We're talking about guys with five receptions or one reception on the season.

I've got to imagine those guys get called up at least at some point.

With no Will Mallory, if anything happens to Drew Ogletree or Moalika, or really Tyler Warren too, Farrell Brown could get called up.

So I do definitely think you're going to see some guys on there who aren't just practice squad projects.

They're actually going to play this year or at least be activated.

He catches the ball and he doesn't provide you a whole lot more after that.

He may be around mostly because they have Will Mallory on IR to start the first four weeks at minimum.

Now, I don't think Will Mallory is going to be on IR any longer than those first four weeks because his thumb injury really could have put him back around week one.

But they're buying themselves a little time, letting it heal up a little bit.

So Farrell Brown, that may be a temporary say on the practice squad for him.

Treadwell was in there, Burks was in there, and obviously Ashton Doolin as well.

Tight end, only three because Will Mallory was placed on IR.

He will miss the first month of the season.

So the big three there with Warren, Moe, and Ogletree.

So a couple more on defense here.

But with 11 defensive linemen, I do think we're going to see some moving there and maybe allocating some more to corner or maybe allocating to another tight end on offense.

We could see until Will Mallory gets back.

That could be an option.
