Mark BrandonHOST
8:45
An incredible player.
Mark BrandonHOST
8:48
Look, it was a lot of positive from Leinster, a lot of good performances, but then on the other side, I wouldn't say many of the Connick players were above a three besides maybe Will Connors and Josh Murphy.
Mark BrandonHOST
9:02
It was really poor, really poor.
Mark BrandonHOST
9:06
I didn't actually hear Stuart's comments after the game.
Joe HealyHOST
19:28
Yeah, just bullied him off the ball essentially there.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:31
Good work from Will Connors.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:32
He's called to the referee that that was out and he smashed into Gunn.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:35
Unlucky not to get a turnover out of that Connors but that was better at the breakdown.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:39
Connors have to up the intensity and Will Connors perhaps raging that the last thing went wrong for him.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:44
It wasn't really his fault.
Rob MurphyHOST
19:45
He was just the man trying to deal with all the pressure coming at him.
Rob MurphyHOST
23:09
Gunn has been really sharp from the base, and he gets it out, and here is Scott Penny.
John O'SullivanGUEST
24:59
It's an opportunity for James Culhane.
John O'SullivanGUEST
25:01
You know, it's an opportunity for Peter Boyle, who captains Will Connors, who's gone against his former teammates.
John O'SullivanGUEST
25:06
Yeah, there's lots of subplots, lots of... interesting duels on the pitch and that's why I think it'll be it'll be a really good watch tomorrow night
Nathan JohnsHOST
25:16
Yeah Ulster and Munster are in action against two South African teams in the weekend Ulster down at Cape Town Munster playing the Sharks the Ulster one's fascinating because they've lost half their squad midway through this mini tour I wondered how that would work last week whether they'd have to fly back players to link up with Ireland camp or would they leave them out there for another week And no, they've had to fly back all their Irish players.
Donal LennonGUEST
1:19
I really like the brand of rugby that Connacht are playing.
Donal LennonGUEST
1:23
Interesting one, Will Connors, of course, who also left Leicester.
Donal LennonGUEST
1:27
Leinster along with Ciarán Frawley he starts for Connacht tonight so there'll be a huge bite in this both teams need a win but I think Connacht it's a huge opportunity for them given the amount of players that Leinster are missing so I fancy them
Gavin JenningsHOST
1:42
The one thing is while they're scoring all those tries they're conceding quite a few as well
Ciarán KennedyHOST
29:23
You mentioned Scott Penny.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
29:24
Will Connors is probably in the same bracket.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
29:29
Dan Kelly hasn't been as involved.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
29:31
But guys who are that bit older who've been around Ireland squads before...
Ciarán KennedyHOST
32:20
He's starting for Connacht tonight.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
32:21
So he's someone with a point to prove.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
32:23
They've got a strong back row in Sean O'Brien, Will Connors and Paul Boyle.
Ciarán KennedyHOST
32:28
So, I think they should have too much for Leinster at home.
Eoin SheahanHOST
17:00
We also have team news for Connacht against Leinster tomorrow.
Eve ConwayPANELIST
17:03
Yes, so Will Connors will make his first start for Connors tomorrow in their interview against Leinster at Dexcom Stadium.
Eve ConwayPANELIST
17:08
Stuart Lancaster has made 12 changes to his team that bet Zebrae, with only Finlay Beelham, Paul Boyle and Cole Ford starting again.
Eve ConwayPANELIST
17:15
Noel Murray is named among the replacements and can make his 100th appearance for the province tomorrow.
Parker CowleyHOST
7:37
at the 30th of October at quarter to eight or tonight if you're listening on Friday morning.
Parker CowleyHOST
7:44
To go through the Connacht team, it is Francois Van Wyk at one, Dave Heffernan at two, Finlay Beelum at three, Josh Murphy at four, David O'Connor makes up the rest of the second row, Sean O'Brien, Will Connors and Paul Boyle make up the back row, Caelan Blades, Sean Naughton at halfback, with a centre partnership of Ford and Divine, with Daniel Ryan, Shane Bolton and Josh Owani, again at 15, making up the back three, with Matthew Victory, Gerry Kerr, Fionnuala Barrett, Niall Murray set to make his 100th cap, Seamus Harry Langton, Colm Reilly, Finn Tracy and Sam Gilbert making up the replacements at the bench.
Parker CowleyHOST
8:24
It's mad to say this, with 13 players, 14 players missing, because I think Harry West picked up a knock during the week, um, unavailable that's a pretty decent team for Connacht
Will FoleyHOST
8:38
there's still a lot of strength in that team and a lot of experience in it and you still have some kind of young gun talent or people who are on the like say like on the edge of an Ireland squad you know the likes of a Kyle Ford and stuff like that so it's and like obviously Josh Murphy Will Connors and Finlay Beelum like some of them are in Ireland squads or have been in Ireland squads in that sense so it's still a it's still a pretty it's a pretty experienced team I did mean to ask are Connacht allowed to play a match on a Saturday this season this is the fifth game in the row in the URC on a Friday night
Parker CowleyHOST
9:18
It is permissible.
Parker CowleyHOST
9:19
I do know they are allowed to do it.
Parker CowleyHOST
11:18
Connacht have more experience in this team there's like there's nearly as many caps in two of our players than there is in the full Leinster squad you know the team sheet and it's yeah it's quite it's kind of mad to think that you know that when we have been take when we're lost down to we're down 13 players with internationals away we still have more players who have played more rugby than Leinster, which doesn't tend to be, you know, that middle tier of, normally this would be, you'd have a few more players here on that 50 to 60, 70 cap mark.
Will FoleyHOST
11:55
Yeah, a lot of the, like, if you're going through, like, the Leinster squad here, like, I think there's one player on the, sorry, well, there's two or three players on the Connacht side that have, like, minimal caps for Connacht.
Cian O'MullorHOST
44:17
I know who else will be wanting to win.
Cian O'MullorHOST
44:19
Ex-Lenster, Lancaster, Will Connors, Jerry Kerr.
Cian O'MullorHOST
44:23
They've all got... history with leinster um and well i mean we'll be facing a very fit and firing lancaster side i mean we know what he's able to do with young players and i doubt that will will connor's a joy care will be lacking in motivation to give a little hello to some of their old teammates uh who do you think is going to uh stand out the most you think it'll be the coaching ticket or do you reckon will or jerry could uh put their own stamp on the game not stamp mark
JosephPANELIST
44:56
Yeah, no more stamping.
JosephPANELIST
44:57
No more, come on.
JosephPANELIST
45:00
I think with Will Connors, it's hard to know because he spent quite a lot of time injured.
JosephPANELIST
45:04
And, you know, I don't know how...
JosephPANELIST
45:10
I'm not sure how much of a threat...
Stuart LancasterSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
12:43
