And then you get here and you see, okay, this is also not immune to those same things.

Pretty hilariously, if anyone has seen the documentary Wild Wild Country, I do believe that's the name of it, it's about the Rajneesh, it's about Osho, and it's about the giant camp that was set up.

Guess where? Exactly on the land that I went to for the Young Life summer camps.

So it all got bought up.

I mean, there definitely are real cults.

I think part of the joke of Join Us is it's kind of like... bunch of guys got together who didn't really know anything about cults and didn't really do any research and tried to make a cult simulator and didn't do a very good job but like made whatever this game is right uh but i think like the real one is if you watched a wild wild country of the rajneeshi cult in uh oregon in the 1980s there's this cult that'll come into the small community in oregon and moved in and there's this like clash of visuals of this very like elaborate cult with the robes and the colors and this sort of small town somewhere.

But we've always said that this is sort of like if the cult from wild, wild country showed up in the town from Roadhouse.

Yeah, the town's going to fight back a little bit.

Two other postal employees in Washington and one in New Jersey were hospitalized as possible inhaled anthrax cases.

And fans of the Netflix documentary, Wild Wild Country, may have even thought of the Rajneeshee cult's poisoning of local salad bars with salmonella in 1984.

I'm pausing at the description and wanting to pull out the thread of Osho.

I think he's a name people would know and I think the recent Wild Wild Country documentary about Osho's life in Oregon and and, uh, and India, I think brings out a lot of interest and especially as, you know, you would go on to other teachers and traditions.

So if you could talk for a moment about what you found with Osho as a teacher, as a spiritual community, as a practice, um, through, you know, a firsthand account and involvement there and, you know, what, what drew you in and what eventually, um, repealed you out.
