Wild Dunes

Dude, and they're dredging.

So it's like Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes.

I don't know if Wild Dunes is considered Isle of Palms, but whatever that beach is called, I called it Wild Dunes.

They're dredging the whole thing.

So they had machines up and then they had this pump blowing, I don't God knows what water and sand out.

And there's not many waves up there.

But for the small little things there were it was it was it was some sandy water.

Yeah, I don't head up that way much, so I'm not super familiar with IOP, but yes, I do think Wild Dunes is part of IOP.

I th- yeah, I thi- I don't think we even knew what we really liked.

No, this was, uh... [piano jingle] Actually, bleep that.

Um, we've been once before.

We stayed at Wild Dunes, which is an awesome resort with hotels and vacation rentals, pools, restaurants.

Highly recommend Wild Dunes.

Um, but in this case, we just rented a house.

Um, it's actually dog-friendly, so speaking of the dog, [laughs] I think a handful of us will be bringing dogs, so stay tuned for a big dog-friendly Turkey Day on Isle of Palm.

I remember getting a phone call from Southeastern Golf.

Scott Veazey, the owner, called, and he was doing a renovation at Wild Dunes.

And knowing that that was one of Strance's first shaping jobs on that property, to go in there and change it was extremely hard for me.

I think I was, you know, It almost felt like we were erasing some history, and I think we've got to be extremely careful erasing anything of Mike's strengths.

like low light pollution or something nuts bkm do you find it harder to play down there with like the softer grass yeah Yeah.

I, we played when we were down there, we played wild dunes and I was hitting every single, like taking massive beaver tails out of the grass.

Like that grass sucks.

Everything fat.

I said, I didn't end up figuring it out either.
