That's Joe Pitawanakwat.

He is Ojibwe from Wikwemikong First Nation and is married with one daughter.

Joe is the founder and director of Creators Garden, an Indigenous outdoor and now online education-based business focused on plant identification beyond sustainable harvesting and teaching linguistic, historical, cultural, edible, ecological and medicinal significance through experiences.

His lectures and intensive programming are easily adaptable to make appropriate and successfully deliver to a variety of organizations, including over 150 First Nations communities and hundreds of institutions throughout Anishinaabe territory and beyond.

and when I visit First Nations communities, I'm welcomed as a brother.

A matter of fact, uh, I had a placement only for three years in Wikwemikong, uh, Manitoulin Island, which is the second largest reserve in Ontario.
