Whitney Biennial

Like, you know, if I wasn't here for Monuments, I would have flown across the country.

You know, it's like I went and flew to see the Whitney Biennale because you need to do that.

And I was just... struck by how many amazing shows this last couple years i've like missing in person and how hard it is if you're not on the ground to like keep up with stuff and also i'm not on instagram anymore

You know, every show is almost under installation more than...

You know, it kind of reminds me of the 2008 Whitney Biennial when everything, like the hottest thing in curatorial... anything, was that you had this sense of discovery when you were walking through a space.

And so at the Armory, Park Avenue Armory, there was the Whitney Biennial, and you could go into any of the rooms and kind of discover the artwork for yourself.

And this is totally it.

Every time.

um so that was i'll call that one out too um and also because uh sometimes when a place gets so much hype you tend to question it um sunny's in miami is absolutely as good as this okay um some of these museums are either worth going to or the shows might be up the irish and herpin show at the brooklyn museum was spectacular um if you're in stockholm the vast museum which you've obviously been to is a 1618 ship that's fully restored If you're in Chicago, the reggaeton exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art was great.

Abby and I went to the Whitney Biennial maybe two weeks ago.

I don't know, probably about to come down or just came down, but again, it's my second time, but they did a great job.

A couple of books, and I think I've recommended all these already.
