Meantime, a memorial is growing at Whiteman Airport for the pilot and reporter who were killed when their news helicopter crashed while covering the bus collision.

A third person on the ground was also killed.

The chopper was based at the Pacoima Airport.

I hope some of the fellows that are pilots over there at Whiteman Airport occasionally pop by the blue room and put their light on it.

Each time they took off from Whiteman Airport, we knew we were in good hands.

New this morning help is on the way for small businesses affected by that massive water main break in West Hollywood.

You remember this scene near Sunset Boulevard in July? Well, now the county has announced a grant program to provide aid to businesses that lost money or were damaged by the water main break.

The National Transportation Safety Board will be poring over it for months, trying to find the cause of the crash.

Meantime, at Whiteman Airport, home base for NewsChopper 4, this memorial, a collection of flowers, stuffed

animals, and photos has been growing.

This is where they would come and launch their helicopter, and it was a joy to them to be up in the air, so this felt like the proper place to set up a memorial for them.

There are other people who have come out specifically and done physical things.
