I'm trying to think like how often, you know, a lot of times it's deductive reasoning, right? So part of the reasoning is not just about like in the glass, but it's like how accessible is this? Like is it, you know, when you go into the store, there's, you know, half a dozen to two dozen Chenin Blancs from U.S.

or France.

So we, we bought it on lease, and then we've made the decision of how long to keep it on lease for, and then what dosage we want to add to the wine, and then how long we want to keep it on cork for.

Um, so we released our first sparkling [clears throat] this year, the 2019 Blanc de Blancs, 'cause we, we partner also, for our sparkling production, we partner with Westen Estate.

[clears throat] So Marcus helps us with the, the production of sparkling wine 'cause we don't have the disgorging, disgorg- the riddling or disgorging line here.

Um, so they assist us with that.

And then, yeah, so that was our, our sort of our first sparkling we've released.

The aim is to focus on premium.

You know, all the wines try and be premium, so it's a premium, uh, Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine.

We would make our first, the first fruit to go into a sparkling from Abbingworth will be from 2024.

They do have Pinot Noir as well, but I did...

I-- Did I try it? No, I didn't try it with you, but there was one that they had, and I'd never tasted that before so much, and it was a, a grand cru Blanc de Blancs that was also extra brut-

It was-- It's, it's really important to go to these days, and obviously Taste Champagne, as we know it, is, um, is, is the largest, uh, Champagne showcase in the world, and we're very fortunate to have it here at our fingertips.

But it's the little things you're just not expecting, like, um, the, uh, the Pompadour twenty seventeen Blanc de Blancs.

If I'm at one of these events, inevitably folks are drinking white wine or red wine.

And I have to admit, I kind of characterize people.

Like if you're having white wine, I'm not saying you're a simpler person.

I'm just saying you're in a simpler mood.

But if you're red wine, that's okay.

So, you know, that's and that's an interesting thought and not an uncommon thought, actually.

But the funny thing about that is really, I think a lot of the reason why we have that perception is because we see a split in the types of people who drink the wine.
