and she was harried by seven white storks and when 10 years ago you could have never imagined that happening and we're rather hoping that she might find a mate and settle here but i guess it's very early days but can you tell us where you've got to with the white-tailed eagles in the south of england

yeah it's a it's positive so we started that project with between the foundation roy's foundation and forestry england back in 2019 and it was very much replicating the work with ospreys the principle is the same so you're collecting birds under license from scotland from the west coast of scotland or mainly the west coast but other areas as well and then moving them to the south coast to the isle of wight when they're a few weeks away from fledging, and then you release them into an area of suitable habitat so that those birds imprint on that area, they heft to that area.
