White House Christmas tree

He's the executive director.

[clapping] And he's gonna break down the real Christmas tree industry, the official White House Christmas tree, and Trees for Troops, all the different things that they're doing over at the National Christmas Tree Association.

[laughs]

And how he's thinking about the road to Christmas broadly.

It's really difficult to win.

Um, by the time...

If you become a grand champion and get to supply and present the official White House Christmas tree, since 1966, so we're on a 60-year tradition now.

Wow.

And certainly the White House needs to plan ahead because that's a big operation.

A 30-foot concular fir from Silent Night Evergreens in Endeavor, Wisconsin, has been selected as the 2026 White House Christmas tree for the Blue Room.

And not the first time.

The White House Blue Room Christmas Tree, it's part of a grand prize of a highly competitive national contest run by the National Christmas Tree Association, which is a thing here in the United States.

And here in Wisconsin today was actually a really big day related to this.

So there's a little place... called Silent Night Evergreens in Endeavor, Wisconsin, and they were selected to serve as the 2026 official White House Christmas tree.

They're in Marquette County and earned the opportunity to provide the tree after being named the National Christmas Tree Organization's 2026 Grand Champion.
