#427 | Pink Bella | GALACTIC TRANSMISSION | Artemis II Secret Mission | 2026-27-28 Future Outlook
P
6:16Pink BellaGUEST
I mean, look at it, we're in 2026 right now, and it's just now starting to get, you know, exciting.
P
6:23Pink BellaGUEST
So while I was doing Akashic work for myself and for clients, I started to get into the more of the starseed galactic information to bring in, and then a couple of years ago, I sort of moved on from working with many of the groups that a lot of people work with, Galactic Alliance and all the different White Hat groups.
P
6:39Pink BellaGUEST
And I still look at them, but I was told to start looking at the Galactic Akashic Records, so that was a unique p- way to look at what's happening, and a little less involved with what the White Hats are doing or what the, um, you know, what all the wheeling and dealing that's been going on to sort of drag out the story.
P
6:57Pink BellaGUEST
So I like all of it.
P
6:58Pink BellaGUEST
It's all a great movie, but that's kinda how I started.
P
11:13Pink BellaGUEST
[laughs] Not ...
P
11:13Pink BellaGUEST
So I, so I didn't mind that, and I think everyone has the role right now.
P
11:17Pink BellaGUEST
Like, everyone either is supposed to work with the Alliance, White Hats, or whatever, and I look at all of it as well.

The fight over XRP just started!
C
27:14ChipHOST
But yeah, that was we did that story.
C
27:17ChipHOST
That was a Bitcoin that got hacked where the White Hats said they hacked it and they said fixed the vulnerability, told them what it was, and they said, we're going to return all of the Bitcoin except some of it because we're going to keep some for ourselves you know because screw the bug bounty programs man we'll just legitimately tell you something now when i see that i think they're using kimmy k3 which is a chinese model which doesn't have any restrictions so they probably found the vulnerabilities with one of these openweight chinese models and they went in there and they found this and you know like for me i can't even had cloud code uh fable 5.1 audit the code do a security audit on the code it wrote now if claude is telling us that their fingerprints are on what you write how come their fingerprints aren't on the code they generate and it's like it defaulted down it flipped from it said sure conducting the audit then i noticed it went from 5.1 fable to opus uh five i'm like No, that's not what I want, and I'm not expecting...
C
28:19ChipHOST
But Kimi K3 and all these other Chinese open weight models, no restrictions.
C
28:24ChipHOST
Just do whatever.
The DAO Security Fund: Turning a Historic Hack into Ethereum's Future | Griff Green
G
8:34Griff GreenGUEST
Like, uh, the hacker only stole $50 million.
G
8:37Griff GreenGUEST
So me and the Robinhood group, which later became the White Hat Group, stole the other $100 million.
G
8:42Griff GreenGUEST
Uh, so actually we had in our contracts at one point 10% of all ether in existence [chuckles] that we hacked.
G
8:49Griff GreenGUEST
That's kind of cool.
18 MINS LATER
G
27:01Griff GreenGUEST
Um, yeah.
G
27:02Griff GreenGUEST
And that was, that was basically it, as long as it was security-focused.
G
27:05Griff GreenGUEST
So a lot of projects were education, newsletters, um, even just Twitter influencers, uh, you know, people who, white hats who are doing good work, you know, things like that.
G
27:18Griff GreenGUEST
Uh, even things like L2Beat.

The White Hat hackers behind Sunday's Liquid Network breach have returned most of the Bitcoin they stole.
J
0:54Jennifer SanasieHOST
The group has sent back 3,400 of the 4,000 Bitcoin it drained, with about 598 Bitcoin, roughly $47 million, still outstanding.
J
1:03Jennifer SanasieHOST
The group negotiated in public by writing messages into Bitcoin transactions, returning the funds after Blockstream patched the vulnerability.
Liquid Gets Liquidated | Bitcoin News

that were written into Bitcoin blocks, and therefore, they're there forever.
D
4:06David BennettHOST
The White Hats first published transaction on-chain with a message in the OpReturn arbitrary data field, quote, contact us on-chain, end quote.
D
4:17David BennettHOST
The message came from the address holding 4,000 Bitcoin stolen from the Liquid Network.
D
4:22David BennettHOST
A Blockstream-linked address answered with, quote, please contact security at Blockstream.com. Later, notes from that sender carried Electrum encrypted payloads and PGP signatures that can be verified against Blockstream's published security key.
D
4:43David BennettHOST
In block 965869, the White Hats asked in the clear text whether sending most back to the Federation script was acceptable.
D
4:55David BennettHOST
Hey, is it okay if I send you most of your money back? I...
D
4:59David BennettHOST
Asking that question just seems really weird, but whatever.
D
5:03David BennettHOST
The 1,000 SAT output on that transaction was only a message carrier.
Someone drained 4,000 bitcoin from a Bitcoin sidechain and gave most of it back, Cronos erased two hours of its own blockchain to undo an exploit, and August inflation lands Friday.
G
0:39Gian LangeHOST
Liquid is a Bitcoin side chain whose LBTC token is meant to be backed one-for-one by Bitcoin in a shared federation wallet.
G
0:47Gian LangeHOST
The attackers called themselves White Hats, negotiated publicly through messages embedded in transactions, and returned thirty-four hundred coins once Blockstream patched the affected bridge nodes.
G
0:57Gian LangeHOST
About five hundred and ninety-eight Bitcoin, some forty-seven million dollars, is still outstanding, and the network remains paused.
G

In other news, Cronos published its postmortem on the Tectonic exploit we covered on August thirty-one, and both the loss and the response were larger than first reported.
The Finale: Liquid's 4,000 Bitcoin, the Caching Bug, and 50 Days for Freedom Wrapped
B
8:12Brady SwensonHOST
Um, there's a software called Elements, which is I think is like the base, kind of the base layer of like tooling that, uh, can be used to operate on the Liquid side chain.
B
8:25Brady SwensonHOST
And so the people who conducted this transaction left a note on chain saying, "We are white hats.
B
8:32Brady SwensonHOST
Contact us." They had found a bug.
B
8:34Brady SwensonHOST
They'd drained the, the Bitcoin and said, "You can contact us and we're going to give it back." Um, Blockstream signed a message, uh, paused the side chain, uh, and yesterday afternoon, 3,400 of the 4,000 were sent back.

Obviously, it us- it util- utilizes this technology, so, um, I think that's the big question for me, is just, are, are people gonna be made whole? What does that look...
F
16:22Frank CorvaGUEST
whole, what does that look like? Um, I, I get the sense it doesn't seem like any more of this Bitcoin is going to be returned.
F
16:30Frank CorvaGUEST
I don't know whether legal threats might be some sort of a catalyst that will help to get it returned, because if they do hold onto this Bitcoin, they're surely not white hats in this equation.
F
16:40Frank CorvaGUEST
Uh, part of me wants to know also, I'll see Zach Shapiro soon, but I saw him put up that post.
NEW ATTACK: 4,000 Bitcoin Stolen OVERNIGHT??? Are You Affected? | EP 1586
O
0:57OptiHOST
And of course, in terms of the exploits, we didn't really see the capitulation, but it's been pretty brutal for everyone involved in Bitcoin.
O
1:06OptiHOST
So anyways, what am I talking about? think this might have been the first tweet that really kind of highlighted what happened and it was ergo btc and it goes liquid got got we saw a liquid peg out transaction of four thousand or four hundred or four thousand or four hundred twenty thousand bitcoin and the hacker there was an op return message and the hacker basically said we are white hats contact us on chain so it wasn't at least while we had this ongoing information yesterday it wasn't a you know a hacker uh someone attacking and stealing that bitcoin it looked like it was a white hat someone that is essentially was looking into the code and did this preemptively so that hackers weren't able to exploit the code now going further of course same message it was a lightning or sorry liquid network bridge that was exploited and the timing is suspicious just in in terms of this ongoing as everyone's been calling it token wars or really using ai to exploit code you know critically important code and there is a there is another kind of suspicious timing of all this so apparently chat gbt launched chat gbt6 aka astra a few days ago and now we see this happening with liquid so it looks again we don't have all the information but it looks like The hackers were out there.
O
2:40OptiHOST
You know, we had the Infamous Red team that were doing very good response after the cold card exploit.
O
2:46OptiHOST
We also had Bitcoin Loop from Block doing something very similar.
O
2:50OptiHOST
But it looks as if we are still, as I said was going to happen, in this phase right now where everyone is using the latest AI, you know, agents to check code here.
O
3:05OptiHOST
And... not just good guys, all right? So this was a pretty good example of the good guys doing it, though at first it did seem a bit uncertain whether the coin would actually return, whether they were actually white hats, but I do have updates on all that.
O
3:19OptiHOST
So we are still in the midst of the quote unquote token wars.
O
3:23OptiHOST
where coders hackers whether they're good guys or bad guys you know white hats or actual uh i guess you would say criminals are using ai to double check all of the critical infrastructure code out there and see if there's any bugs any latent bugs and so as we keep going further into the you know beginning of the 2030s and as we start to see ai improve incredibly and dramatically i think we are going to continue to see similar things happen though i guess the silver lining is is as these ai exploits kind of continue that the code does become better and as the newer ai models come out hopefully the current bugs and exploitable code has already been fixed so the newer code ai agents won't actually be able to exploit this critical infrastructure moving forward so Again, it seems like we are in the midst of a new AI model coming out and then hackers and coders using that to double check and also potentially exploit the critical code.

B

It should have said white hat hackers or WHH and said to contact them on chain.
B
5:09BrianHOST
This was the really weird bit that happened.
B

So we take a look here.
