He also notes the popularity of the white base mental structure as something to keep at the forefront of a new story, which he very much would.

And he talks about throwing out the continuity of the original novelizations, even though as he writes to himself, "They did make a lot of money," [laughs] which I love as a little note.

It would be funny if she was like just a big Bright Noah fan and just wanted to like get to know Bright.

Later in this movie, we get to a base in the ocean, which is in the remnants of one of the colonies.

But they're still in the Philippine Sea, I think.

I mean, the geography is not... super focused on so i mean the legit so there's like fully intact or not full you know there's like substantially intact pieces of wreckage like thousands of miles away from sydney so i mean you know you you will make yourself insane trying to think about like it's like one of those things like if you try to map out where the white base goes in first gundam like it's just like they were not thinking about it like that it's fine yeah you know Yaz made an entire manga trying to fix this problem and it's like it's not a real problem but it is funny it is you can't make yourself crazy trying to think about it but yeah who knows about Operation British it's like you know they blew up a chunk of Australia it killed a lot of people a bunch of other people died in other stuff question mark you know

Maybe Yaz will clean this up 10 years from now as like a 95-year-old and he'll make everyone's least favorite version of Mosley Gunham Hathaway.

But then, the White Base ended up on Site 6, a neutral colony where no warfare is allowed, and Mirai bumped into her ex-fiancé slash fiancé.
