Whismur

For me, I did bring back, well now, the newly evolved Kirlia, Glint, level 23.

I also brought back Loudrid, evolved from Whismur.

It was Sonic, level 23.

I did get rid of those little beginner prefixes too, because I was kind of getting annoyed by them.

So some other things.

So Nate, what do Loudred, Makuhita, Hariyama, Exploud, and Whismur all have in common?

They are all Pokemon.

That is true, and they all got a Pokemon pin this week at the Pokemon Center for you.

On that depressing note, in Route 116, I did a lot of training, and I decided, 'cause I want to try and evolve some Pokémon, or at least get them close to evolving, and I noticed that Whismur has a pretty cool ability.

So for the first ability highlight, I will focus in on Whismur that has the ability Soundproof.

[upbeat music] Which Soundproof grants Whismur immunity to all sound-based moves and prevents all the damages and effects from these moves.

Which is, I think, also just cool that Pokémon has finally acknowledged that there's a sound-based category, which has led to a lot of speculation that maybe eventually down the line there'd be a sound type.

Almost 20 years later, still no sound type, so I don't know if we should be holding out for that.

But anyways, the reason how I noticed that is because I had a Whismur in my party and I decided to swap out against another Whismur, and Whismur in the very beginning only knows Growl and Uproar, so the other Whismurs couldn't damage it at all.

I'm like, "Oh, this is the easiest way to train it now." It's a pretty cool ability, and pretty cool that Pokémon finally acknowledged a sound-based system, but they will never go any further and make a sound-based type.

Yeah, we got really lucky finding this beautiful spot.

And just to be more specific, when people see on a wine bottle of Niagara wine, they see the word Hank, not spelled the way you may think, or Whismur or Whismur Foxcroft, what can they just in general expect?

Well, this is 20 Mile Bench, and it seems to be developing into the premier Pinot Noir sub-appellation in Niagara.

We're getting really nuanced, mineral-rich wines coming out of here, and with great diversity.

Like from Whismur Park, which is, let's say, 40 feet away from the Hank Vineyard, you can always sense the difference between these two vineyards.

It's funny.

I think it's one of the goals for all of you guys, all winemakers, wine owners, anywhere within several miles of here is for people to realize when they see the names of these certain vineyards on the bottle that they're guaranteed a very, at the very least, an incredibly high floor in terms of quality.
