When the Sun Goes Down

This, I would say, is a high-water mark in that I would argue it is the first number one hit of the landfill indie era.

We've had indie number ones before, two for Arctic Monkeys, I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, and When the Sun Goes Down.

I think they are the last number ones of the sort of indie boom.

This is the first number one of the indie bust.

One of his first acting roles was on ITV's Children's Ward...

He went on to star in Band of Brothers, Gangs of New York, he was in the Arctic Monkeys music video for When the Sun Goes Down, This is England, Neil Marshall's Hellboy, Rocketman, Venom, Let There Be Carnage, as Detective Mulligan.

My favourite Woody played Cletus.

but would mostly be known as Hamish in The Hunger Games, Woody in Cheers, For Zombieland, White Men Can't Jump, Natural Born Killers, Kingpin, and he voiced Boxer in 2025's Animal Farm.
