Ratchet died on the shuttle.

Wheeljack died in the slingshot torpedo bomb launcher room.

Again, whether the movie is aware of it or not, it is, I don't know, retroactively brilliant that you as the audience, whether you clock it or not, on a rewatch, it's like, those characters are dead.

Well, how come Optimus Prime dies from his injuries because there's nobody to help him? you know, perceptor can't fix him.

That doesn't mean

you're so old.

Last week, I reopened my biggest piece of baggage, the big red bag marked Optimus Prime Awakening, when I played a voicemail from my friend Ewan Miller, giving his take on what the short could have been, speculating about Optimus Prime revisiting key moments in the movie, possibly as a spirit or a ghost or some other astral plane presence, moments like the Battle of Autobot City, and Not necessarily to change the outcome or the fates of those characters involved, but instead to provide some kind of closure for the 1984 guys that we either don't see at all in the finished film, like Mirage, who we saw killed in a storyboard or were otherwise killed unceremoniously off screen like Windcharger and Wheeljack.

I'd be concerned about how big these figures would be and how expensive they are.

Magic Square show off the MSB68 Marsh, which is Wheeljack.

So Magic Square are the competitor mainly to New Age.

They do slightly cheaper figures and less complex, but still decent Legend Scale figures.

I'm assuming this is a downscaled Wheeljack, a Legend Scale one, rather than the Magic Square Master Scaled ones.

I'm assuming, looking at the pins in him, that it is the smaller version, which is fine.

He looks poseable.

I assume.

Yeah, no, it was Facebook, actually.

Funko Pop News had out-of-box... out-of-box photos of the new wave of the Funko Pops of Optimus in his movie pose with the dinosaur Grimlock, the Prowl, Wheeljack, and Mirage.

So I did see those as well.

So I'll yank that photo off of Facebook and put it in the Transformers thing on the Discord.

Like, these actions that Springer and Arcee are doing is, uh, somewhat unusual, and it, it isn't necessarily addressed within the film proper or even in the script.

Like, I think, I think when we get to the scripts later, Wheeljack has some kind of line about, you know, something is damaged, uh, during, during the transformation.

But, like, there, there really isn't a reason given, stated why Arcee and Springer have to do all of this process manually.

I mean, to say nothing about, you know, whether this is Metroplex or Fortress Maximus or, or whether this is even a sentient Transformer at all, or r- rather it's just, like, a, um, traditional city that itself, uh, has a, has a secret [laughs] like everything else in this movie.

Maybe that'll come back later.

Long Haul, Mixmaster, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Hook, Scrapper are firing and tearing at armor plates.

... well, there's also, there's also, if they've done Ratchet, there's no s- there's no reason to not assume they'll also put a w- maybe do a Wheeljack in one of these sets, because both Wheeljack and Ratchet created the Dinobots.

I mean, only if somehow Swoop is small enough materials-wise that they have a little bit extra space.

I'm assuming the next set is going to just be Sludge and Swoop.

That's, that's actually what I think.

But they could, they could put a Wheeljack in there to balance out Ratchet and Wheeljack being in the set with Swoop.

I mean, they could also do a dramatic capture of Wheeljack and Windcharger with, um, holes painted all on their torsos-
