I feel like in the last month, um, But the last two fires we had, we had some pretty big fires this last week or so.

One was up in Washakie County, southern Bighorns.

The other one is just to the west of Wheatland in the Laramies.

We got a wildfire cooking down there and Near Wheatland, the moonshine fire, 0% contained.

Looking at over 2,600 acres right now.

It's in the Laramie Range, southwest of Wheatland.

That started up yesterday.

We'll give you an update on that.

My cousins grew up there in Wheatland, Wyoming.

My cousin Matt Robertson rode Bronx and forever rode at the Calgary Stampede.

I've mentioned previously Wheatland.

There's talk of one down by Glenrock and the one between Casper and Glenrock, and I just really worried how this is going to work out.

But we'll see what happens.

... where I'm at in Wheatland, we're just kind of split in half, so we have wells, irrigation wells, we're all s- irrigated sprinklers.

But, um, the north half of Wheatland's got wells, which is for farming there.

We- but no sugar beets this year, no edible beans this year, no...

I live in Wheatland, Wyoming.

I grew up several different places.

My dad was a Methodist pastor, so, so we moved around a bit.

I, I wasn't from a family ranching business and, and I didn't think there was any way I could, I could do that as a career.

Um, but, uh, I knew I wanted to be working around the space somewhere.

So that's, that's why I went and got a couple animal science degrees, uh, and then my wife and I, uh, settled in, in Wheatland, Wyoming and, uh, and we bought a little piece of ground and, and then picked up a few leases around us and, and, uh, that's kind of when I started thinking, "You know, I could actually do something with this." And, and so, you know, we, the, the ranching now is, is a, is a fun side hustle for me.

You know, we, we, uh, we, we lease, uh, a few pieces of ground and, and run some custom cows in the summertime.
