And I guess rather than try to sell the book myself, I'll use Not the authors, but the person about whom the book is written's own words.

What is the What is the soulful account of my life from the time I was separated from my family in Mariel Baye, if I mispronounce that, I'm so sorry, to the 13 years I spent in Ethiopian and Kenyan refugee camps, to my encounter with vibrant Western cultures beginning in Atlanta, to the generosity and challenges that I encountered elsewhere.

So just to add a little bit to that, What is the What? is a story of a Sudanese refugee in the United States.

And in the course of telling it, he weeps in accounts from his life back in Africa to stories here in the United States and everything in between.

As for reasons why you should want to vote for it or read it, I think the first thing which many of us in the section realize about the book is just that it's really engaging.
