WFSB

Bill Rasmussen died on Tuesday, yesterday.

Bill Rasmussen was an old friend of mine because when I was with the Post News Company doing television for Channel 3 in Hartford, Connecticut, my second television job after Oklahoma City, Bill was the media relations director for the Hartford Whalers.

They were the New England Whalers in the WHA.

Remember, the Mariners were here in the WHA.

We need to really... you know, create a level of support for our new mothers and our new parents, because that's how critical this is.

Yeah, I want to refer people to the WFSB YouTube channel.

We did an entire 30-minute special on motherhood in crisis, and we talked about a doula, which I know is out of reach financially for some folks.

There was talk that it would be great if insurance would cover it.

Thank you for having this conversation, Cara.

You can always find Cara's Cures on your favorite podcast platform.

Watch it right on WFSB Plus or The Wax.

Thanks for being here, everyone, and be well.
