And throughout the football season, he'll join us every Tuesday at this time to talk Cowboys and NFL.

We love his perspective, and it's awesome to have him on once again.

This plan exceeds the state's statutory minimum by 54 locations, averages 1.56 miles between Election Day sites, and prioritizes locations with the highest turnout from 2022 and 2024.

The plan responsibly balances voter access with sound stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Now, I haven't seen anything like this, but I'm a country bumpkin who just crawled out of a log cabin in East Texas, so I'm not used to being around such highfalutin situations here.

There's some warnings that are showing up, and it's at the fringe of our listening area.

But hey, at least the rest of us are getting some clouds today.

So that's better than it's been for the last, what, 14 days or so? But security for the big event, I saw this report on WFAA, and folks, they are not kidding.

The security around this is something that is far beyond normal.

Yesterday, I was telling you the city of Dallas and the city of Prosper were having public hearings and meetings on proposed data centers.

Here's the update on that from WFAA.

Well, the Planning and Zoning Board in Prosper is opting not to recommend zoning for a controversial data center.

All those in favor, please raise your hand.

Where did this come from? Y'all all didn't just magically do this on your own.

But then I realized how much I missed sports broadcasting.

And so on my third audition, I landed a job in Dallas and was there for 17 years working for WFAA TV and caught on with the Cowboys and was their radio play-by-play guy for 17 years.

And if I look back to everything good that's happened to me, uh, over the last 60 years, uh, it all began with the cowboy radio assignment because I was lucky.

I, I caught on when Don Meredith was a quarterback, uh, uh, got to know Roger Staubach and, uh, Danny White and subsequent, uh, great Bob Lilly, uh, uh, when they were quote America's team, uh, But those were wonderful years.

25 years later after 9-11, two first responders, we have Captain Rosie Velez, a guy, and Chief Joe Salerno.

And they're talking to a reporter from WFAA-TV Channel 8 about what they saw and about now.
