I'm talking to, uh, Nadine Van Rooyen.

She works for a company called WEX, which we'll get into and explain in just a moment.

Her title is Senior Effectiveness Manager, and I, I wanna tell you a, a whole lot about WEX and a whole lot about her title and what she does there.

But, um, for those of you who do not know, she'll explain.

They have a headquarters in Portland, Maine, which, um, was really, you know, kismet for us because one of our, um, employees lives up in Portland, Maine, and yet she lives in the Netherlands, so that's why we brought her to Iiex Europe.

And, you know, every time I speak to you, it just makes me smile, so I have the feeling this will be one of those conversations where I will be smiling almost the entire time.

Um, let's start with, let's start with the company because, uh, again, I had never heard of WEX, and then when I talked to Dana Stanley, like I said, who lives in Portland, Maine, he said, "Oh yeah, WEX, they're headquartered in Portland, Maine." And I was...

But you probably weren't thinking you had to pay.

No, they told me when I got there and I'm like, wait, thank God I have this Wex card that I can, you know, pay for.

But if I wasn't in that situation, what would I have done at the doctor's office? Would I not be seen? Because they ask you for the payment before you get to see the doctor.

But stories like that, how do you decide which one to dive into? Which one is, say...

I met my now partner with my company.

And he was working for a big company called WEX and WEX was losing a lot of money.

And they told him, hey, can you put some of these conferences and maybe take them along so you could educate everybody to see if it could help with the losses.

And it went all from there.

And that's when I found Rapid.

They were purchased by a company at that point called Wex and they hired.

So the rest is sort of history.

I've been with Rapid since then and have been here sort of at the beginning of pay cards and now here through the beginning and now sort of, I guess, middle stages of VWF.

And during this journey, you have some real product in business that maybe solving a real business problem.

One of the things we have at WEX is Claim AI.

Yes.

We have a, an AI agent that can automate the claim process.

So how, how do you do that?

We, we have a model for the AI maturity.

So we put seven different points, how, how mature is our AI adoption is at WEX, and we're measuring it, and we're reporting it in-
