Westlands

Yeah, it's not worth, like, saying that you're like, "Oh, by the way- No ... my family, we own, um, you know, that those buildings which you always see in Westlands, we own them." But I would, but I would do it.

If we're driving there, I'll be like- Yeah ... "Oh, we own that." Yeah.

Right.

So I already knew where to go.

I went to the UN in Westlands.

Mm.

I already had information.

I mean, like Westlands is so, is so clean.

At night you can walk.

You know, but here's the thing.

Like you can be walking on Westlands with a phone.

Almighty God, the sons of Isaiah were wise in that they understood the times and they knew what Israel needed to do.

And God, I thank you for the wisdom of the leadership of Parklands Baptist Church and the wisdom of this great congregation located here in the Westlands area of Nairobi in this part of the world, Africa, that God, we have chosen to align with the scripture that commands us to consecrate the 50th year and it becomes our jubilee.

I thank you for this wisdom.

We have the facilities here.

Talking about Westlands, where I am, there's a big five-star hotel here opened two years ago, JW Marriott.

Quite a big, expansive facility that allows for large-scale conferences that would be held in New York or Singapore, can now be held from Nairobi.

Joel, I do want to also pick up on that point around foreigners putting their money into Kenya, because one thing that is crucial, as we see with many African economies, is the strength of the diaspora specifically.

And when they come back, they can actually see something that has happened.

The infrastructure now in Kenya is quite good.

It only takes you less than 15 minutes, pretty much like 10 minutes from the airport to Westlands or even to Upper Hill.

So it makes it easy now to even fly in and even fly out and do your business within the same day in Kenya and go back.

Yeah, I agree.

So yeah, I moved back and then I am now reaching out to a certain education agency in Westlands, and I tell them that I am ready.

Do I have the money?

No.

which shows why I have to go so back in history, so far back in history.

And, you know, not only look at Ngara, but also look at Madari and look at Westlands.

It's this, if you look at an entire city, there are so many different ways to answer the question, you know, what is alive? What is dead? What is good? What is bad? What needs to change and what should be preserved?
