Since then, he's gone on to make three more films about whiskey.

His latest is West of Tradition, a look at the American single malt movement, largely through the story of Seattle's Westland Distillery.

Greg is heading off to China this month to shoot his latest film project on the growing Chinese single malt industry.

But before he left, we sat down for a Zoom call to catch up.

We've got the wonderful Greg Schwarz, director of West of Tradition, which is his latest documentary, which sort of centers around, well, it's about American single malt.

uses sort of Westland distillery as its center, similar to the Water of Life film, which was about Scotch whiskey and sort of used Bercolati as sort of that center point, right, that sort of North Star.
