Westhaven Marina

I am so delighted to be bringing you an episode featuring none other than Judith Tabron.

You might know Judith from her 18 superb years at the helm of Soul Bar and Bistro in the Viaduct, or now from her iconically famous First Mate's Last Laugh restaurant at Westhaven Marina.

But Judith's career, 50 years in this industry, is essentially a history of Auckland hospitality itself.

I can tell you I was taking some serious notes throughout the session because Judith has no shortage of hot takes.

It's a great one because, as you say, it does give you immediately that sense of fun with the word laugh in

it.

It does give you an immediate sense of positioning because of the First Mates, the nautical theme down at Westhaven Marina.

Yeah.

True, true.

Definitely not at the West Haven Marina.

It is all over the wood.

I hate that.
