Western Colorado Mountaineers

Live on a Monday night, it's Utah Valley University basketball.

As this evening's a 6 p.m. tip-off, as the Wolverines take on the Western Colorado Mountaineers.

Hi, everybody.

I'm Tyson Whiting.

Welcome inside the Marriott Center in Provo for BYU women's basketball.

Tonight, after a long offseason, the Cougars are back on the court for their one and only exhibition matchup facing the Western Colorado Mountaineers.

The 26-27 BYU women's basketball team has a lot of familiar faces, returning seven players, four of which were starters, welcoming back sharpshooter Kaylee Woolston after her 18-month mission and bringing in one transfer and adding three freshmen.

This team returns 72% of its scoring and 58% of its rebounding from last season.

Let's get to tonight's starting lineups.

They are presented by Smith's Fresh for Everyone.

We'll start with the visitors, the Western Colorado Mountaineers.

Their starting five features four guards and a forward.
