Will FaulknerHOST
8:06
yeah absolutely so that's the squad I guess we've debriefed but the big selection point is sort of who's going to replace Cameron Green with this adductor injury or abdominal injury rather but in the middle order who would have batted so we've got Connolly we've got Harper and we've got Maddison do you have a personal preference at the time of recording we don't know who's going to replace Green but when you look at that team who do you see is the best person to replace Green
Daniel DrewGUEST
8:28
uh yeah like like i previously i'd love to see connelly i'd love to see coop um bat in that middle order that five six role depending on where alex carey bats and where they want to bat by web surf is if he's playing also um i think you know we've seen it in the white ball format um for australia he's made some big runs looks comfortable at the level um he's obviously coming from the wacker in western australia he loves a short ball loves quick bowling um So I think to be able to blood him in, bat him at five for this series, or at least for the first couple of games, would be great to see.
Daniel DrewGUEST
8:58
He also adds the versatile off-spin that he's got with left-arm ortho, help Nathan Lyon, help the bowlers out if he needs to play a role when the wickets are turning.
Daniel DrewGUEST
9:09
So I think I'd love to see Koop get a crack.
